Master the Art of Plating was an initiative taken by Chef Prakash Chand as he dearly believes in helping the hospitality industry and always puts developing young chefs first. Over 200 participants including chefs, apprentices, hospitality institutes & students attended the online masterclass and learned some valuable plating techniques & skills which they can proudly showcase at work or at home.
The masterclass was in association with the NSW Government as part of their small business month program to help small businesses in these trying times. We at Knoxx saw this as a great opportunity to help upskill the chefs & the hospitality industry as they are adversely suffering ever since the start of COVID. Also, Le Culinaire Hospitality Institute played a big role by generously supporting us during this process by providing us with their premises & kitchen as their CEO, Brad Bennett is a big believer in giving back to the community. The icing on the cake was when acclaimed chefs Julio Azzarello, George Sideris & Adam Moore agreed to be a part of it in the blink of an eye.
Overall, the response was tremendous, and each and every stakeholder made the event a humongous success.
